Set design and lighting/video animations for NZCA lines touring live show. Conceived as a single film, the performance took the form of 5 LED panels on stands (a modular set up which will be expanded to have more panels in the future). Written in the aftermath of lockdown, NZCA lines’ new EP Universal Heartbreak draws on the darker moments of recent years. The video design was a response to these moments of introspective and despair; each animation a meditation on the fact that the only way out is to move forward.
